Shannon Coker is the Chief Operating Officer at Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado, boasting an impressive 16-year tenure with the organization. In her current role, she orchestrates the seamless operation of partner agencies, programs and direct service initiatives, extending her oversight to distribution centers in Colorado Springs, Pueblo and the San Luis Valley. Shannon skillfully manages the transportation fleet, food procurement and volunteers, showcasing her multifaceted leadership. With a remarkable journey encompassing seven different positions within Care and Share, her unwavering dedication to the organization is evident.
Beyond her professional commitments, Shannon extends her impact as a board member at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. A versatile talent, she channels her artistic side as a photographer, specializing in capturing the essence of families and children. Shannon hands often get muddy indulging in the therapeutic art of pottery. Her heart belongs to Nile, her 8-year-old pit bull, whom she affectionately rubs the belly of, creating a perfect harmony between her professional prowess and personal passions.
